The Costalegre is a remote and pristine paradise located in the southern area of pacific coastal Mexico between Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo. The Costalegre comprises a 280 kilometer stretch of Jalisco state between Boca de Tomatlán in the North to Bahía de Navidad in the South. At 20° north latitude the Costalegre experiences climate similar to Hawaii or Jamaica, making it an ideal winter vacation destination.
'Costa Alegre' translated to English means the "Happy Coast", and is a tropical paradise from November through April, when there is little or no rain. It is know for its enchanting sunsets, warm deserted beaches, seclusion and serenity.
