Chagas Disease Symptoms can include fever, body aches, fatigue, rash, diarrhea and vomiting, swelling of the eyelid or at the bite mark. (Caused by a parasite spread in the feces of the Kissing or Assassin Bug). Rare.
Malaria Symptoms include fever and flu-like symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle pain and malaise. Rigors (severe shakes or muscle spasms) and chills often occur. Vaccine available. No cases in Jalisco since 2014.

Typhoid Symptoms include a sustained fever, headache, malaise, loss of appetite, slowed heartbeat, rose spots developing on the trunk of the body. Low risk in Jalisco.
